- Dashboard: the handle bar display includes on/off, state of charge, and multi-level assist mode selection.
- 2 Modes (multi level assist): Most e-Moto bikes are equipped with speed modes to help control speed versus range to customize the ride experience. The motors of electric bikes are governed at certain speeds beyond which the bike is powered by the rider alone.
- - Low Modes: capped at 10 mph but with an extended range.
- - High Modes: capped at 16 or 20 mph with our standard, stated range.
- All bikes feature state of the art lithium-ion batteries for extended range and light weight.
- Ranges vary by model from 20 – 35 miles per charge. Fully recharge the bike in about 4 hours.
VERY helpful on hills.
- Brushless Hub Motors: Energy is transferred to a brushless motor electronically, requiring no physical contact between stationary and moving parts. Although brushless motor technology is more expensive, most are more efficient and longer-lasting than brushed motor systems. There is less maintenance and fewer parts to replace or service.
- Motor Output: e-Moto offers a range of motors from 250 watts to 500 watts.
- Pedal Assist versus Throttle (POD): There is no clear cut advantage to either. It is completely dependent on rider preference. Pedal assist generally provides a longer range and is more like riding a bike while a throttle is a bit easier and is a lot of fun.
